1954-87 GM Stepside Truck Tailgate Latch Conversion Kit

Unburden your Stepside GM truck from the chains that have been holding it back. Maiden Speed's Tailgate Converison Kit brings a modern tailgate latch system to your 1954-87 Chevrolet or GMC Stepside truck rendering the old chain system obsolete.

The kit includes a billet aluminum handle assembly, two billet pin receivers, two adjustable connecting rods, two latch pin assemblies, handle assembly gasket, all the required stainless hardware, 3D printined drill/cut jigs, and the instruction manual. The billet aluminum pieces are available in Raw Aluminum, Black Cerakote, or Polished and all the internals are Black cerakoted. All cutting, machining, coating, and assembly is completed in the United States.
